The Story Behind Nature Rich Pets

From humble means as a student in college studying chemistry, Merian has emerged as a female entrepreneur and highly successful businesswoman. She is the Founder and Owner of Bounce Curl (providing clean hair products for curly-haired people), and also a product formulator for over five different companies in the hair care, skincare, and body supplement industry. 

Merian's journey into the pet arena began while she was still in college. She noticed that her two pit bulls, Stacks and Pharaoh, started developing some sort of skin rash; she thought it was mange. The condition only worsened year after year.

She took them to countless vets, who prescribed different treatments and medications that never worked. Recently, a prescribed topical skin treatment was know to possibly cause anemia in humans so Merian had to wear gloves during the applications. In addition, the devastating side effects almost killed one of her dogs.  She knew there had to be a better way.

Just as Merian felt the pain of her dog’s suffering, she also felt responsible for finding a solution. And she did. She started seeking out safe, effective alternatives to help treat her dogs and learned more about raw diets.

Upon researching, Merian found a holistic doctor that told her to take the dogs off of their medications, to remove grains from their diet, and to feed them raw foods (the doctor suggested Fresh Pet). Almost immediately, Merian noticed an improvement in the condition of her dog’s skin. She developed and incorporated an all-natural topical treatment and that helped even more! 

Out of those trials and tribulations and desire to help her own dogs, Nature Rich Pets was born. 

Nature Rich Pets is a premium line of pet products containing all-natural ingredients. Merian’s goal is to help other pet owners and their pets. She wants to prevent any other family from needlessly watching a loved one suffer.
